Animation & music

I animate for my own stories, projects and I like to make fan animations as well. I mostly do 2D animation but also experimented stop motion animation and settings creation.
I compose music mostly for my own enjoyment fully by myself with FL Studio. I create the lyrics, sing and use my instruments.

Eshkà

In a future world blessed by a special magic, a girl doesn't receive her Eshkà (spark), this power allowing beings to survive after a environmental and spacial disasters. This story is in the solarpunk genre and focuses a lot on hope, nature, and its balance with human society.
I have been creating this story since April 2021 in a sketchbook, but got the main ideas in a dream in December 2021. I have been developing them ever since.
I'm hoping to be able to make a short animation or pilot for this story. Seeing it as a series, a movie or a comic is also a dream.

The Cat's World

A young girl doesn't feel like she fits in a world that's been rude to her. One day, she meets a mysterious cat wearing a key, and she follows him in his strange world.I have been creating this story since I'm 8 years old, it's the biggest personal project I've ever done so far. I wrote down and drew tons of ideas, visuals, characters and more over the years, and I love this universe dearly.Just like Spark, I'm hoping to animate it or to make a comic of it someday.

Master

Mémoire | Thesis

Nature and fiction always have been two of my favorite passions and topics of research. The exchanges between the two on the creative aspects, sensibility and technicity are very common and I decided to study them more and find good reasons to associate them. The topic of this thesis is the use of ecofictional materials for space design. After a short study on the thematic and material place of nature in the fictional space, I presented arguments to explain how the ecofictional materials can be benefical for our own functional space design with three main parts : techniques and conception, perception and materials, and mental aspect.
The importance and relevance of that research lives in its use for both storytellers and architects to make them work together. Nature studied from the specific fictional angle can be valuable and transposed to our own spaces and help us redesign them, such as the Umeå School of Architecture from Umeå University in Sweden, who explain their method and exploration of stop motion for architecture, in a paper called Using Stop Motion Animation to Sketch in Architecture: A practical approach, written by Ru Zarin, Kent Lindbergh and Prof Daniel Fallman.
Discoveries and benefits of that connection aren't only material with the question of ecoconception, but they enrich the way we view the world, our creative process and our conception of space and cities. With that research, I try to guide the reader to ask themselves about the unique bond connecting stories, nature and space.Key wordsnature • fiction • ecofiction • narration • entropy • land art • arte povera • hasard • creativity • solarpunk • stop motion • animation • setting • vernacular • concept art • clay

Classeur - Ecodesign

The project of the "classeur" is one of the three projects of the master (thesis, classeur and professional project). It consists in experimenting and research on a specific topic - it's a practical approach and working with physical materials. My topic of research was the ecodesign of the stop motion settings, to explore the narration created by a natural element.
For that project I mainly worked with clay, pigments and ochre glue. After exploring various natural recipes, I did many tests to create clay houses. I wanted to see how using ecodesign in stop motion settings could help us to visualize nature in our own space design.

"Voyage" - Projet Professionnel

The goal of the professional project is to project ourselves as professionals of our field. For my work, always connected to the other two projects, I focused on transposing stop motion settings using ecodesign to a human scale space design. For that I made these settings, using what I learned from the classeur. Then I made these spaces bigger to immerge ourselves more and more and project how we could live in a space inspired by nature. I animated a short film for a better immersion, and to use fiction as a creative and inspiring base for our own space ecodesign. One of the biggest part of the project was to make a real human scale street light, based on one I designed in my stop motion settings.

À propos | About

I'm an illustrator, concept artist, 2D animator from France. I also like to compose music. I graduated from the Institut Supérieur Couleur Image Design (ISCID) of Montauban, with a bachelor's degree in animation in june 2021, and then with a master's degree in space, color and light design in june 2024. I'm currently in a course to learn ceramic.I wrote a thesis for my master's degree, about ecofictional materials as a narrative power for space design. My goal was to use my skills in animation to imagine what good ecodesign could bring in our environment, and to show how stories are a first step to visualize ideas and make them concret. I studied various concepts such as entropy, the solarpunk movement in arts and society, scale, and worked on several stop motion settings/models projects. I experimented a lot with clay and ochre.I really want to engage in the themes of nature, women's rights, queer lives and human experiences in my work. I love to develop my stories like Spark and The Cat's World.I live with cats I love, and I'm mostly a night owl !
